 TIANamp Yeast DNA Kits-Tiangen-GDP307 Manual

  • StorageRoom temperature (15-25℃)
  • DescriptionThe TIANamp Yeast DNA Kit adopts a highly efficient DNA-binding spin column and a unique buffer system to extract yeast genomic DNA. After the sample is lysed, the DNA specifically binds to the silica membrane under high salt condition. The DNA then elutes from the silica membrane under low salt and high pH condition. The DNA purified by this kit can be applied in various tests, including restriction digestion, PCR and Southern blot.
  • Required ReagentsSorbitol buffer, lyticase, ethanol, RNase A (optional)
  • Features■ Short operation time: High quality yeast gDNA could be obtained within one hour.■ Non-toxic: The operation is safe since no phenol or chloroform extraction is needed.■ High purity: Pure DNA can be obtained by using this kit, which can be directly used in downstream molecular biology experiments such as PCR, restriction digestion, Southern blotting, etc.
  • Applications■ PCR and qPCR.■ Restriction digestion, library construction, Southern blotting

  • Identification of Flo11-like Adhesin in Schizosaccharomyces pombe and the Mechanism of Small-Molecule Compounds Mediating Biofilm Formation in YeastsMicroorganisms2024-02-09 Read ArticleYeast genomic DNA was obtained using the TIANamp Yeast DNA Kit (TIANGEN; Beijing; China).
  • Identification of a novel growth-associated promoter for biphasic expression of heterogenous proteins in Pichia pastoris .Applied and environmental microbiology2024-01-09 Read ArticleAbstract: Pichia pastoris (P. pastoris) is one of the most popular cell factories for expressing exogenous proteins and producing useful chemicals.. The alcohol oxidase 1 promoter (PAOX1) is the most commonly used strong promoter in P. pastoris and has the characteristic of biphasic expression.. However; the inducer for PAOX1; methanol; has toxicity and poses risks in industrial settings.
  • Enhancement of pyranoanthocyanin formation in blueberry wine with non-Saccharomyces yeasts.Food chemistry2023-12-28 Read Article.. of the screened yeasts; extracted by TIANamp Yeast DNA Kit (TIANGEN; China; DP307-02); was used as templates
  • Overexpression and Characterization of Endo-1,4-??-xylanase from Fibrobacter succinogenes in Pichia pastorisApplied Biochemistry and Microbiology2023-12-01 Read ArticleAbstract: Fibrobacter succinogenes is a major cellulolytic anaerobic bacterium in the gut of herbivores and possesses genes with a wide range of hemicellulolytic activities.. Endo-l;4-??-xylanase (EC.3.2.1.8) is a key member of the xylanolytic enzyme system and is widely used in animal feed; food; papermaking and medicine.. In this research; the nucleotide-optimized endo-l;4-??-xylanase gene Xynm derived from the Fisuc_2442 gene of F. succinogenes was expressed in Pichia pastoris GS115.
  • Effect of tandem repeats of antimicrobial peptide CC34 on production of target proteins and activity of Pichia pastoris.Protein expression and purification2023-11-01 Read ArticleAbstract: Antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) are attracting attention in the fields of medicine; food; and agriculture because of their broad-spectrum antibacterial properties; low resistance; and low-residue in the body.. However; the low yield and instability of the prepared AMP drugs limit their application.. In this study; we designed a tetramer of the AMP CC34; constructed and transfected two recombinant expression vectors with pGAPZ??A containing a haploid CC34 and tetraploid CC34 (CC34-4js) into Pichia pastoris to explore the effect of biosynthesized peptides.
